Some of Bedly's properties are occasionally advertised on Airbnb's 30+ day rentals. Pricing on Airbnb is typically higher than the same listing on Bedly. The price is higher based on a number of factors.
Airbnb is generally higher because there are fewer requirements to qualify and more flexibility on Airbnb. For example, Bedly fixed term bookings only permit 3+ month stays at the advertised price and require a full month security deposit with bookings going in full-month increments. In addition, there are added fees to the landlord and renter associated with bookings through Airbnb.
These factors are weighed into the Bedly pricing algorithm, and Airbnb's pricing often is different since it uses a separate pricing engine. We do not guarantee that residents who book through Airbnb will get the same price advertised on Bedly if they have already booked the room through Airbnb.
To comply with Airbnb's terms of service, we are unable to cancel a booking through Airbnb and re-book through Bedly at the lower price. However, if you are an Airbnb renter and would like to extend at the end of your term you are more than welcome to book any Bedly apartment at the advertised Bedly pricing directly through www.bedly.com.
